This game invites you to deal with questions about democracy, society and personal opinions in different ways. The aim is to start a conversation together, get to know different perspectives and get food for thought.
How do you play?
Depending on the group setting, the participants briefly introduce themselves.
The game begins by clicking on “New question” – the question is read out loud.
Decide in advance in which order you want to play (e.g. clockwise).
The active player answers the question. The others listen attentively and are welcome to ask questions afterwards. Make sure to be polite and objective.
Now it’s the next person’s turn.
Variants
- Passing on the question: Instead of answering the question themselves, the active player can address it to one specific fellow player. Make sure that everyone gets a chance to speak an equal amount of time.
- Creative round: A question is not answered but drawn or mimed (e.g. on a whiteboard or paper). Rather for informal rounds.
Tips for group settings
In larger groups, it may also make sense to split them up.
4-6 players per group usually offer enough space for exchange and discussion.
At the end, there can be a joint reflection in the whole group or an exchange of the most important thoughts.
